High in the Hoh Rainforest for Fashion Friday
Part of being an adult means you can dress up for photo shoots in really rad locations. Lucky for me, the PNW has a plethora of picturesque photo spots, including North America’s only rainforest — the Hoh Rainforest.
During my last trip to Falcanna, Bethany, Andrea and I did some exploring. We stumbled upon this mossy location and it felt like a scene from Game of Thrones. Throw in a vintage floral dress and you can call me Cannabess, Queen of the Green.
After Bethany helped style the gown, I sparked up a giant Falcanna joint. No joke, her husband rolls one gram fattys. Andrea snapped photos with a little creative direction, for final shots that look like another world. Seriously, moss covers everything out here.
As for the dress? I scored it at Scorpio Rising, an epic vintage store in Tacoma. Not only is the dress homemade, IT HAS POCKETS. Like, bye. I can put my weed in here and run away to the woods.
I’m heading to the peninsula again this weekend to photograph Falcanna for PUSH Mag. Where should we shoot next? Neah Bay? The Tree of Life? La Push? Stay tuned, because we’re about to embark on another adventure!
