Ain’t to party like a Hempfest party! Hempfest wouldn’t be complete without DOPE Magazine‘s epic afterparty.
This year’s event took place on a rooftop terrace in Belltown. I typically mingle at these events, however took a break during golden hour to photograph the beautiful Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. Her unique vintage dress and headscarf caught my attention. I knew this would be an impulse editorial.
I passed Kitty the flowers. Tonight she smoked Western Cultured’s Cascade Connie. This sweet, subtle hybrid has frosty purple buds and mellowing effects.
We smoked the first joint overlooking the city. While I loved the skyline background, a slight breeze made pictures impossible. Undeterred, we wandered the rooftop for good wind shelter and golden light.
Soon after we stumbled on an epic ivy wall perfectly blocked my wind. The setting sun perfectly illuminated the wall. Girl, light up that second moment.
Kitty ripped it like a pro. She smoked with ever-so-subtle movements. Every image came out completely natural and perfectly lit. The orange in her outfit popped in contrast to the ivy. Talk about ganja gone glam.
Thank you again to DOPE Magazine for throwing this year’s Hempfest afterparty. It’s great to see the community come out for a good time. However, it becomes a great time when coordinate a spur of the moment photoshoot. Thanks again Kitty for modeling. Meow!
