No Blues when you’re lit at Diablo Lake
On our way home from Lazy Bee Gardens and after a pitstop at Washington Pass Overlook, we scoped the sights at one of my favorite lakes — Diablo Lake.
I almost missed this shot. We’d already taken 2,000 photos in 48 hours, but what’s a few more? I ran to the car and tossed on this set, which my friend and talented stylist Angie pulled for me. It’s a two-piece from Leith, purchased at Nordstrom. The sunnies I practically live in. They’re the Morrow frame and can be found at Valley Eyewear.
If you’re cruising the North Cascades Highway, Diablo Lake’s lookout is a must-see. The vibrant blue water coupled with the Cascade Mountain range looks like a scene straight off Instagram. (well, at least the feeds I follow) It’s hard to believe this location exists in Washington! Am I in Europe or is the weed just that good!?
If you’re in Washington the weed weed really is that good. I lit up joints from Lazy Bee Gardens. No worries about a dead zone when you’ve got Wifi OG. This uplifting sativa set the tone for the rest of our day.
Itching to see more Diablo Lake? The hike is epic year round, but it’s particularly good for early season hiking. Iv’e been told to take your time on the hike back, as the views are especially impressive. As if it gets any better than this!
Who’s hiked Diablo Lake? I’ve only stopped at the viewpoint, but think I should add the trail to my to-do in 2018.
