Feeling Like a ganja goddess in this gorgeous home grow

I grew up in a family of gardeners. Both my grandmas are in garden club and my mom’s garden would give most a run for their money. However, after visiting this home grow, I’ve found my new garden goals — cannabis.

I can’t go into much detail about this grow or its location, but will emphasize it’s for medical use. The story surrounding these plants is heartfelt and I hope to someday share. These plants remind me that while cannabis is recreational, it’s also medicine for millions. It’s medicine some people would risk their freedom for.

Alright, now on to the fun stuff. I shot these photos during a recent trip to the Bay. My friend Lizzy is currently growing these beauties and for months told me how perfect this place is for pictures. After spending the day shooting around Oakland, we came here to water the plants. I almost said no to pictures, but one joint later realized the light is golden and we’d be crazy to pass.

I threw on this two-piece set Lizzy purchased at some random boutique in San Diego, layered up a few of my favorite VidaKush accessories and lit a joint. The wind stopped and the light crept through. I couldn’t believe we almost bypassed this opportunity!

What’s your idea of home grow goals? Someday I dream of owning my own house. My gardens will be raised beds with fruits, veggies and, you guessed it, cannabis!
