Emerald Exchange’s Magical Weekend Recap
I recently attended a cannabis event unlike any other. Attendees relaxed in the Wellness Village, lit up in the hash lounge and noshed on The Herbal Chef’s five-course dinner. So where is this magical place? The Emerald Exchange.
Emerald Exchange highlights world class, sun-grown Northern California cannabis to the SoCal community. Some of my favorite vendors included Sunnabis, Foria, Papa & Barkley, Medicine Box, KIVA and Hummingbird Medicinals. Not only could you sample products, you could also purchase them! Clearly we’re not in Washington anymore…
It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the Exchange. The Herbal Chef’s HERB dinners set the bar for cannabis cuisine. Molly Peckler dove into relationships with her cannabis and dating discussion. We sampled cannabis with a three year cure from Wolf Mountain Organics. Friends kicked back in the Biscotti Hash Lounge. Speaking of hash — yours truly moderated the extracts panel, which featured three prominent hash makers.
People have described Emerald Exchange as an energy shift, and it’s true. Peace, positivity and passion for the plant oozed like rosin fresh off the press. From growers and processors to activists and enthusiasts, the event truly embodies the cannabis culture.
Thank you again to Emerald Exchange for creating such an unforgettable experience. While this was my first Exchange, hopefully it won’t be my last.
