The Pottery Los Angeles

During my last trip to Los Angeles, I paid a visit to one of the prettiest shops I’ve seen — The Pottery. This posh pot shop looks more like a high-end home goods store. It’s certainly not what people envision when thinking of recreational weed. Alas, I couldn’t wait to see this place for myself.

When I walked in, the first thing I noticed is the chic decor. Geometric wall designs, modern tables and marble displays made cannabis look so relatable. Jonathan Adler stash jars and Malin + Goetz candles are just a couple examples of The Pottery’s luxurious accessories. Unfortunately for my wallet, I could see all of them on my bud cart!

Stoney Sunday in Solana Beach

Stoney Sunday is better with friends. It’s even better when you’re with one of your best canna buds at a cute AirBNB in Solana Beach. However, you’ve reached peak Stoney Sunday success when you’re sparking up Stone Road Farms joints for a morning wake and bake in Urban Outfitters.

That’s exactly what happened on my latest trip to San Diego. I met up with my friend Lizzy at the cutest AirBNB in Solana Beach. This quaint, quiet cottage near the beach had a private garden overflowing with plants. But these aren’t just any plants, these are life-size Monstera leaves, succulents galore and Birds of Paradise higher than the house. If you know me, you know my obsession with plants, hence this collage is my definition of #PlantGoals.

Sebastian at BA Botanicals invited me to attend this Mendocino County event. Ego Clash Invitational is invite-only for the industry’s leading producers and processors. What sets this event apart from others is the judging. Every person who enters becomes a judge, then you judge everyone’s product along with your own.

Smoking Like It’s 1971 with Eve Farms

It’s Fashion Friday but it certainly looks like a Flashback Friday with Eve Farms and Fauxy Furr Vintage. I rolled up some delicious Sour Patch flower in RAW cones during our last trip to SoCal, for a very groovy high.

During our trip to Palm Springs, Cameron and I decided to stay an extra night in Joshua Tree. I found this gem on AirBNB and knew we needed to stay here. The listing proudly states the house has been untouched since 1971 (as if the wallpaper didn’t give it away). Sometimes I get a photo vision and I’m lucky to have a guy who goes with it. So that’s just what we did.

Black Friday with Creatures of the Wind

Sure I’m wearing all black for Black Friday, but I keep it green with Creatures of the Wind. I fell in love with their recent Capsule Collection after seeing it at Marley Natural’s colette pop-up in Paris.

Shane Gabier and Chris Peters of Creatures of the Wind created the line in conjunction with System magazine’s weed issue. Vintage shirts, sweatshirts and jackets feature hand-drawn cannabis embroidery. When I saw this one-of-a-kind USA shirt, I knew it was a match made in fashion heaven.

That Yellow Mumu Dress

Remember the dress I purchased for my cousin’s wedding? You know, the one I forgot to pack? Well this is it — a vibrant yellow, chiffon Show Me Your Mumu dress!

Now normally I wouldn’t stress about forgetting a dress, but this isn’t just any dress and I didn’t purchase it for just any wedding. My cousin recently married a woman whose grandfather served as the President of Mexico. Wedding attire called for formal, and I wanted to branch out from my all black everything.

Travel to a land where medicine makers still flourish via the Emerald Exchange. This farmers market, educational conference and wellness festival is located in magical Malibu Canyon. The goal is to create a mindful dialogue while showcasing world class, sun-grown Northern California cannabis to the SoCal community.

I cannot wait to attend the Emerald Exchange on August 12th and 13th. Molly Peckler first introduced me to the event after her experience. She raved about the venue, vendors and overall vibe. No surprise, it’s been on my radar ever since. Looking at the lineup, it’s hard to decide what I’m most excited about. So here’s my top five things you don’t want to miss at Emerald Exchange.

I met up with Melodie of Blunted Objects and my friend Dimi for a west side adventure. Melodie styled me in Blunted Objects' Tattoo Leaf Choker, Bud Leaf Cross Hand Chain, Frosty Leaf Filigree Hand Chain, Top Shelf Leaf Earrings and the Trinity Leaf Eyeglass Leash. Valfre's Sorry I'm Stoned shirt paired perfectly with black shorts and the silver accessories.

Leafly’s LA Budtender Sesh Recap

On Thursday budtenders, business owners and cannabis connoisseurs convened in Los Angeles for the Leafly Series Budtender Sesh. The event included prominent industry speakers, swag bags, snacks and an after party sponsored by Marley Natural.

Doors opened at 2 PM for attendees to network. Marley Natural brand ambassadors mingled with guests to answer questions and provide samples. I even caught Zach Fernandez, the artist behind Hollyweed, lighting up Marley Green.
