This Valentine’s Day I’m in a committed relationship with my career. What better way to celebrate than with a few gifts to myself?
Here are a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day gifts for girls (and guys) who smoke weed!

Thank you SunGrower & Greenhouse for the lovely Lazy Bee Gardens spread!
I shot these photos during last summer’s visit to the farm. They are some of my favorite, and most shared photos to-date. (eyes that infamous bag shot)
Puff, puff, pass! Last week I swam around Seattle in Pink+Dolphin with Hollis Porter, but you might know him as @bokeh.rang.
We started at one of Hollis’ favorite spots in West Seattle. The I-beams didn’t seem so scary, until I started smoking. The thought of falling in the frigid Sound didn’t, well, sound too exciting.
Morning, noon and night — cannabis consumers love Sunset Sherbet. With its top shelf genetics and potent effects, Private Reserve’s indica-dominant hybrid is an i502 favorite.
Sunset Sherbet is the byproduct of Girl Scout Cookies (OG Kush x Cherry Pie x Durban Poison) and Pink Panties. Effects include a full-body high with jolts of cerebral energy.
Some people like oatmeal cookies, others prefer chocolate chip. Me? I prefer my cookies Pink Cookies by Private Reserve. This strain is one of my favorites to both photograph and smoke.
The Pink Cookies plant itself is stunning. She’s got dark purple leaves, long orange hairs and a hearty bud structure. Late in bloom, flowers are covered in frosty trichomes.
As PNWonderland turns into PNWinter Wonderland, I envisioned a snow bunny shoot styled by Fauxy Furr Vintage. The only difference? We don’t walk, we blaze in this winter wonderland.
We scouted a location off Tinkam Road near Snoqualmie Pass. Chrysta, Jill and I stomped out a trail to the river. Fat snowflakes fell through perfectly diffused light. Ideal conditions to light up in a winter wonderland.
For Christmas trees near Seattle, you can go to the Crown Tree Farm. You can also go to your local cannabis shop, because in the PNW we smoke our Christmas trees.
Chrysta and I teamed up for a Fauxy Furr Vintage holiday shoot. A last-minute model cancelation meant we became the models. I guess this is why I always keep my mani camera ready.
There’s a reason Pineapple Express gave mention to the Super Lemon Haze strain. It’s legendary, a favorite among cannabis consumers. In fact, Super Lemon Haze is without a doubt my favorite strain.
Also known as the SLH, Super Lemon Haze is a strong sativa guaranteed to help you get shit done. This strain is perfect before work outs, to clean the house, to craft with friends — you name it. One whiff of its pungent aroma will leave you feeling energized.
Working in weed I have a lot to be thankful for. Legal weed, employment at an amazing company and content creation for budding brands are a few reasons to give thanks. Consequently, this Thanksgiving is Danksgiving.
I want to share a few of my favorite companies, so you too can turn Thanksgiving into Danksgiving.
The 2016 election results made one thing is clear — Americans want legal weed. Nine states voted on recreational cannabis laws. Eight passed.
California, Nevada, Maine and Massachusetts voted in favor of recreational marijuana. North Dakota, Arkansas and Florida said yes to medical marijuana. Montana voters passed laws to make medical use easier. Arizona, the only state to not pass, voted against its recreational law.
