Hot Tub Boating with Airo Brands

Airo Brands is the Buzz in Washington State

Years ago, maybe four or five, my friend Masha told me about a new vape company. She made a dirty joke about the pen vibrating, but in all reality it hit like a champ. That was my first introduction to Airo Brands and one I still remember to this day.

At the time, it felt like revolutionary vape technology. Magnetic cartridges paired with branded batteries in a convenient travel case we hadn’t seen before. Over the course of the next few years I often vaped these oils, whether by myself or with friends. So when Airo Brands reached out to partner for Washington State content, I couldn’t wait to buzz around South Lake Union in a hot tub boat.

Girls Day at Lake Ingalls with PLUGplay

October 14, 2021

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with PLUGplay in Washington State

PLUGplay takes fun seriously. So when they reached out to parter on their Washington State launch I didn’t hesitate to go hiking. One of my favorite things to do is play in the mountains. The Pacific Northwest is packed with scenic smoke spots and cannabis keeps me plugged in on the trail.

I called up my friend Keti, a fellow wander babe, who suggested Lake Ingalls. Its vibrant fall colors pair well with pot, which amplifies the epic views. We filled our bags, loaded the car and definitely couldn’t forget the plugs for an unforgettable day with PLUGplay. As an added bonus, Sarah—a fellow cannabis creative—just moved from Michigan to Portland, so she met up with us too for her first Washington State hike.

Why Vaccine Mandates are Medical Segregation

September 28, 2021
vaccine mandates are medical segregation

It’s time to speak out against vaccine mandates and medical segregation

segregation — noun

  1. the act or process of segregating : the state of being segregated
  2. the separation or isolation of a race, class, or ethnic group by enforced or voluntary residence in a restricted area, by barriers to social intercourse, by separate educational facilities, or by other discriminatory means

It’s been 18 months since my first COVID-19 post. Over the last year-and-a-half, I’ve been mocked, doxxed and canceled for my views towards the pandemic. It’s almost surreal to look back and realize my worst fears have come to fruition. “Two weeks to flatten the curve” has morphed into “papers please” for basic freedoms.

It’s why all people, regardless of health status, need to speak out against vaccine mandates and medical segregation.

Welcome Huxton to Washington State

Huxton Washington State

Huxton Brings their Good-Time Providers to Washington State

Several years ago I discovered Huxton. This Arizona-based brand kicked off their entry into the cannabis space with stunning, chic accessories and to this day, I still use their backpack. As the brand evolved, they’ve since launched a line of pre-rolls and I couldn’t be more excited to see them in Washington State.

To celebrate, I coordinated a shoot in the loft of my dreams with talented photographer and friend Keti. We smoked joint after joint of these perfectly burning half-gram pre-rolls. Keep reading for more about Huxton’s Washington launch and why I love this brand even more.

Pot Girl Summer

Cannabis Essentials for a Pot Girl Summer

I recently teamed up with my friend and childhood neighbor Courtney Jette to collaborate on a summer photo shoot. Courtney is a talented photographer with a slew of vintage gems for her retro styling and set design The Red Clutch. So when titling this shoot, it only feels right to call it a pot girl summer.

I love all seasons but summer is by far my favorite. Hot weather, long days and swimwear as styling are just a few reasons it stands out. Throw in a poolside session and I’ll sit in the sun for hours. With so much time spent outside, it’s only natural to roundup a few of my favorite products for your summertime smoke out.

Gun Rights Are Human Rights

It’s Time we Toke About Gun Rights for Cannabis Consumers

The last time I posted in support of the Second Amendment I lost 800 followers overnight, so why post about gun rights again? Because yesterday in court I shared my victim’s impact statement about last year’s experience having a gun pulled on me. At that moment, a million things went through my mind, one of them being the ability to defend myself.

Did you know if cannabis consumers answer truthfully on background checks they will be denied the right to own a firearm because this plant is still federally illegal? I believe that is morally wrong. People who drink alcohol and take pharmaceuticals are allowed to own guns. So why not peaceful, responsible cannabis users?

Fuck That COVID-19 Vaccine

June 29, 2021

Why I am so Vocal About the Covid-19 Vaccine

It seems everywhere one turns there is talk of the COVID-19 vaccine. Television reports, radio ads, social posts, group chats and now the cannabis community are just a few places people push this liability-free jab. However, “fuck that” isn’t exactly a fact-based argument. So today I share why I am so concerned about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Before I elaborate, I ask readers to please keep an open mind. Ad hominem attacks like “science denier” or “flat earther” (yes, I’ve been called both) will not be tolerated. If you take issue with the information I’m about to share, use facts to support your views. Anything less means you don’t know the issue and I’ll tune you out. Facts over feelings, which is why I’m about to dish out a ton below.

Take a Peek Inside Aeriz, an Arizona Cannabis Grow

On a recent Phoenix trip I got an opportunity to visit Aeriz, an aeroponic indoor cannabis grow. However this isn’t just any indoor grow, and it certainly isn’t just any tour host. Aeriz marks my first Arizona grow tour, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Before I delve into tour details, let me share some backstory. Social media is an amazing place. I’ve known people online for years and never met. Yet it’s awesome to support their work and see channels grow. My Aeriz tour guide Jason, also known as @hip2thecrop, is one of those people. A great grower, talented photographer and #PlantsOverPills advocate, I feel so fortunate to tour this facility with a longtime cannabis creative.

Rolling into Fourth of July weekend with a little Rolling into Fourth of July weekend with a little red, white, blue—and green! While in my hometown last weekend @courtneyjette reached out to see if I wanted to take photos. I always love working with this talented photographer and stylist, so said "heck yes" to a summer-inspired shoot.

In less than 24 hours Courtney pulled together a couple patriotic looks and brought this vintage roller girl vibe to life. I've been going to "adult skate night" at the Richland roller rink the last few months and man, this outfit really has me itching to go back. I was also told I look like a character on @strangerthingstv, which wasn't intended with the styling but I'll take as a compliment.

While we didn't see Vecna, we did get absolutely annihilated by mosquitos, which might also explain why I'm itching... Either way, 14 mosquito bites are well worth it for our roller skate summer collab. I haven't been in front of the lens lately so this adventure is exactly what I needed to get those creative juices flowing again.

Where are you smoking for the holiday weekend and any tips to keep mosquitos away? 🛼🇺🇸 #cannabess

Hello Instagram, nice to see you again! My two-wee Hello Instagram, nice to see you again! My two-week hiatus turned into two months, and here's the reason why. After seven years in my home state of Washington, I said "so long" to the expanding socialist dumpster fire and in May made the move to Wallace, Idaho.

The pandemic put a lot of things in check for me. I saw friends, family and businesses I love cave to authoritarian vaccine mandates. Politicians used the Federal Reserve to print $5 trillion in new debt which devalued the dollar further and drastically increased food prices (along with pretty much everything else). In the city, store shelves sat empty due to fears of supply chain shortages. I watched as both Republicans and Democrats perpetuated the divide felt in this country. I realized so many of the things we live for on social media don't really matter. AT ALL. So I packed my bags, peaced out, and headed for the hills. Well, more like the mountains...

Wallace is a historic mining town with a population of (now) 961 people and is nestled in Idaho's Silver Valley between two ski resorts. The entire town looks like a movie set. It's quiet, the air is fresh and I can leave my bike on the porch without concerns a crackhead is going to steal it seconds later. Small town living is the life.

You probably wonder how a woman who works in weed can move to an illegal state, but that's another post for another day. I'll just say I don't fear prohibition in Idaho and defiance of unjust laws runs in my blood. Heck, Wallace had brothels operating until 1986, so the state isn't as conservative as some might think!

I look forward to exploring my new state, sharing its rich history and blazing every step of the way. If you find yourself on I-90 between Spokane and Missoula, shoot me a DM. I'll be here, possibly playing dress-up, probably biking mountain trails and absolutely puffing fat clouds. Idaho, you already feel like home! 🌲🍁💨 #cannabess

Gearing up for 4/20 with a little help from @gpen! Gearing up for 4/20 with a little help from @gpen! Fun #throwback story: when I lived in Los Angeles, I met the founder of G Pen through the social circle I ran with. At the time I didn’t work in weed, or know much about cannabis beyond I liked to smoke it. So fast forward a decade and you can imagine my surprise to receive a goodie box from them in the mail.

The Roam is an all-in-one portable water filtered vaporizer. It makes it so easy to dab on-the-go or just lounging around the house. But there’s a bigger lesson here beyond how much I love my new G Pen—it’s to be kind to everyone. The world is a LOT smaller than you think, and even more-so in the cannabis industry. You never know who you’ll connect or cross paths with, and the universe is really good about bringing things full circle.

Now the big question—what’s everyone doing for 4/20 tomorrow!? 🔥🍯💨 #cannabess

How much weed I need to pay income #taxes to a gov How much weed I need to pay income #taxes to a government $30 trillion in debt with $130+ trillion in unfunded liabilities.

Did you know in 1895 the #SupremeCourt ruled the income tax unconstitutional? The federal income tax of 1894 was a two percent tax on all income over $4,000 (roughly $90,000 today) and marked America’s first peacetime national income tax. It was promptly challenged on grounds the Constitution requires direct taxes to be levied in proportion to each state’s population. In a 5-4 vote, #SCOTUS ruled the income tax is a direct tax and thus the 1894 law was void.

So how did we get stuck with the income tax anyway? In 1909 politicians passed a resolution to give Congress clear power to enact “taxes on incomes” without apportionment. Four years later, four-fifths of Congress ratified the 16th Amendment (IDK how, maybe they told people they’d get *free* stuff) which granted government the power to tax (cough, steal, cough) your income.

Today people say “taxes are the price we pay to live in a civilized society” while the U.S. government spends billions on the drug war, trillions to bomb the Middle East and wastes money like a drunk frat bro getting bottle service. Moreover, the IRS has a $13 billion annual budget, which speaks volumes about the abhorrent power of government.

If people want to ACTUALLY protest, stop giving government an interest free loan on your income. Refuse withholdings on your paycheck. Maximize deductions and make it as difficult as possible for the government to steal your wages. The income tax is oppressive, un-American and needs to be abolished. Our country was founded on tax rebellion, so sticking it to the tax man (or woman) is your patriotic duty. Have a happy Tax Day! 🍁🥲💸 #cannabess

Happy International Women's Day! Today I'm lightin Happy International Women's Day! Today I'm lighting up a fatty for all the amazing ladies in this space.

For the longest time I felt unhappy in cannabis. After multiple failed attempts at #cancelculture coming for my career, I questioned if this is a community I want to be part of. As the pandemic picked up and I started to speak my truth, I realized I wasn't alone.

So today is a big THANK YOU—a thank you to the ladies (and gents) who've made me view this space as a community again, a thank you to the women who acknowledge we are free to disagree, and most importantly, a thank you to the friends who've supported me through thick and thin. I seriously wouldn't be where I'm at without you.

The biggest threat to women in weed isn’t corporate cannabis or white men, it’s the toxic collectivism of cancel culture and female bullying. This plant is meant to unite us, not divide us. So to all my females (and female plants), this one's for you. 🍁🙏🏼❤️

It heats up in 60 seconds, has dual batteries and if you're busy like me, can supercharge 80% in 40 minutes. I've used dry herb vaporizers in the past and some alter the taste of your product, this device doesn't do that. The MIGHTY+ has a ceramic coated filling chamber and easy-to-use temperature adjustment, for herbs that are a perfect hit. It truly is like a VOLCANO in your pocket, or in this case, on my piano.
